Predicted grade calculator

When it is time to predict those final grades, it can be a bit stressful.  The final predicted grade should be based on the evidence that you have seen of the student's learning. 

The following simple calculator will allow you to enter the mock exam and IA scores to determine a predicted grade. If you don't have an actual mock exam score, enter the "average" score for student performance on that paper.

A comment about mark bands

The mark bands used in this calculator are based on the May 2022 exam.  For the November 2022 and May 2023 exams, the mark bands will be updated.  As the mark bands change every exam session, it is not possible to have "definitive" mark bands for making a prediction.  However, they usually only change within a band of 2-3 marks.
