Assessment markbands
The following markbands are taken from the May 2022 exam - the most recent set of exams for this curriculum. You will notice a relatively small difference between the awarding of grades between timezones 1 and 2 and between HL and SL exams. This reflects the relative scores achieved by the students completing each examination.
The markbands for the examinations and internal assessment may vary between different exam sessions, but the Extended Essay markbands do not change from session to session.
