This Anagrams Quiz can be used as a starter or plenary activity for branding (Unit 4.5). Some of the answers (e.g., One Direction) are useful for reminding students about the definition of the term ‘brand’ or the meaning and importance of ‘branding’ in the marketing mix.

In its most simplistic format, the quiz can be used as a worksheet*, with students completing the brand name from the given clues. For a challenge, take out the clues of the industry in which each business operates.

As an extension activity, students could also be asked to produce their own versions of the quiz and try them out with each other.

Feel free to adapt this Anagrams Quiz to suit your local audience.
