Welcome to InThinking for the IB DP Business Management course!

This website is designed to help you and your students to achieve success in Business Management as part of the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP) and IB Career-related Programme (IB CP). The website helps you to create and deliver a successful IB Business Management course in your school by:

• addressing all learning outcomes of the syllabus (final exams November 2023), including notes for all sections of the course as well as the new course (first examination in May 2024).

• providing guidance on all aspects of IB curriculum framework (including the internal assessment, external assessments, the Extended Essay, CAS, TOK, concept based learning, and ATL skills).

• providing students with a range of resources to assist their revision, such as key terms glossaries and flashcards, covering all sections of the IB Business Management course, including the new Business Management Toolkit (BMT).

• giving you ideas for delivering engaging lessons and learning experiences for students, including ATL activities, interactive quizzes, worksheets, crosswords, embedded videos, exam practice questions, and mock examination papers (with full mark schemes).

As of June 2023, there are 1,886 registered teachers and 10,872 DP 1 students from across 112 different countries using the InThinking Business Management website (this represents about 68% of all IB World Schools that offer IB Business Management). Content on the website exceeds 1,250,000 words (that's more than 310 Extended Essays!), so there are plenty of resources to engage and support teachers and students.

Please note that your IB Business Management students have free access to the website once you have activated Student Access.

The InThinking Business Management website is organized in syllabus order:

There is also coverage of all other aspects of the IB Business Management course:

• The CUEGIS concepts of change, culture, ethics, globalization, innovation and strategy (for final exams in Novemnber 2023). This section of the website includes an introduction to each of the six prescribed concepts, ideas for making connections to the syllabus, top tips on the CUEGIS essay (Paper 2, Section C), sample essays with examiner feedback comments, advice on the assessment criteria, as well as video documentaries to help embed the CUEGIS concepts.

• The Internal Assessment for both HL and SL. This section of the website includes advice on formulating focused research questions, research methodologies, and interpretation of the assessment criteria. Sample titles and exemplar IAs are included, with examiner feedback to support you and your students in understanding how to successfully complete the internal assessment.

• The Examinations section of the website provides an array of resources for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. These include advice on command terms, key terms (glossary), and revision. This section also include resources for the Paper 1 pre-release case study, including exam practice questions and ATL activities to engage students in their learning. An "exam tracker" is also included to help teachers to plan their assessments and mock exams for students. Paper 2 exam practice questions and full mark schemes are included, which can also be used for assessment purposes.

• The Core aspects of the IB Diploma Programme (CAS, EE, and TOK) are covered in this section of the website. It provides advice and case studies about embedding CAS in the delivery of the IB Business Management course, and integrating TOK in the Business Management curriculum. There is an array of resources to support teacher who are supervising students undertaking a Business Management Extended Essay.

• Updates & Notices are provided to help teachers and students to see the latest additions to the website.

• Resources for IB Business Management such as textbooks, workbooks, resource packs, YouTube channels and so forth are included. Make sure you check this section of the website on a regular basis for updates and additions.
