Going hand in hand with the other themes, intercultural understanding can have a powerful impact on how the student sees their place in the world; only through understanding of ourselves and our reactions, preconceptions and knowledge about others cultures, can we truly develop lasting intercultural understanding. In these short activities, students are asked to take a step out of their context and consider themselves as users of language.
