This activity explores how a grid can create structure or provide the impetus for a drawingGrid: A pattern or structure made from horizontal and vertical lines crossing each other to form squares Materials: paper, pencil, eraser, colored pencils. Draw a grid in pencil in your sketchbook or on loose paper.Use colored pencil to draw over the grid; your drawing can be an abstract design or representational.
